Sun, Wind and IPA!

In spite of the brutal headwind (20 mph with 30 mph gusts) for the second half of the ride; it was a beautiful, warm and sunny day. The Broken Spoke Brew Ride is a charity ride hosted by Recess Brewing with Final Lap Race Management with the proceeds going to three local charities: Edwardsville Neighbors, Main Street Community Center, and Swing Fore Hope. Along with the Broken Spoke IPA brewed specifically for and released on the day of the ride; it provided the perfect culmination to craft beer week.
